Admission Process

The admission process for the Master's program takes place twice a year, for the first and second semesters respectively. The admission process for the Doctorate is held continuously throughout the year. The following information is about the most recent admission process for both courses.

MASTER'S DEGREE - 1st semester, 2017

Master's Degree Selection Notice - 1st semester, 2017 (50 seats)

Application period: October 14, 2016 to November 7, 2016 (Read the Selection Notice).

With regard to item (K) of the selection notice, as proof of knowledge of English for application purposes, we accept certificates of course completion, even at basic level, from English schools, tests such as TOEFL, TOEFL ITP, Cambridge, etc., or statements from private English tutors, or certificates of participation in a foreign exchange program. Candidates who do not have a formal English certificate must attach their own statement about their level of knowledge of the English language. If selected, they must submit a formal document by March 30, 2017; candidates are advised to check the dates for the English proficiency tests offered by UFMG School of Letters.

DOCTORATE - Continuous selection

Applications open for 2017, from November 7, 2016 to October 28, 2017.
